About The Position

As a Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Associate you'll provide support to the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) team to ensure compliance with the CRA regulations and alignment with the Bank's CRA strategy, planning and oversight program. You'll perform an array of administrative duties related to CRA reporting, tracking and documentation. A key responsibility is researching volunteer service opportunities and working with the CRA Community Development Managers to coordinate employee volunteer service hours. One of your key responsibilities will be to set up and promote volunteer events in coordination with Community Development Managers, Internal Communications, and business resource groups using the Bank’s internal systems. In addition, as part of tracking employee hours you will assist with validating CRA qualification of volunteer activities. You'll receive donation requests either internally or externally for processing and will work closely with the CRA Community Development Managers to ensure complete documentation and approvals. Monitor the donations workflow on the Bank’s internal systems and ensure documentation requirements are met, and the donations budget is kept current. Prepare periodic updates to the team on donations status and assist as needed with external communications to grantees. Responsible for supporting the CRA Manager in identifying service hour opportunities, and promote them within the bank to engage employee participation. You'll track hours, validate services and provide reporting. Process and submit donation requests either internally or externally. Work closely with the CRA Manager, accounts payable, and the marketing team and monitor the donation budget for annual CRA donations. Track donations through our internal software and provide required reporting to management. Assists the team in other areas of the CRA program including event and meeting planning and management reporting presentations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of related experience in a Financial Institution or similar field.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Entry level to intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
  • Entry level to intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Entry level to intermediate knowledge of non-profit organization financial reporting and fundraising.
  • Entry level to intermediate experience with Community Reinvestment Act regulatory definition of Community Development services, grants, and donations.
  • Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
