Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong interest in community outreach, relationship building, and public engagement
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to connect with diverse groups of people in a professional and friendly manner
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while working in a collaborative team environment
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and social media platforms

Nice To Haves

• college coursework or a degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field is a plus
• Previous volunteer experience, community involvement, customer service, hospitality, retail, or event experience is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of community events, outreach campaigns, workshops, and engagement programs
• Interact with community members to share information about company initiatives, programs, and services
• Help develop and maintain positive relationships with local organizations, schools, community groups, and strategic partners
• Assist with creating community outreach materials, newsletters, social media updates, and promotional content
• Coordinate event logistics, scheduling, materials, and on-site support to ensure successful community initiatives
• Participate in team meetings to share ideas and contribute to community engagement strategies
• Gather feedback from community interactions and help identify opportunities for improvement
• Provide administrative and organizational support to the Community Relations team
• Assist with tracking outreach activities and maintaining accurate records
