About The Position

The Community Partnership Specialist develops and fosters new working relationships with community stakeholders/partners in targeted geographical communities, and oversees the partnership development process. This role requires the individual to live in Ohio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Urban Affairs, Social Work, or related field, or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of Community Development experience is required.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong collaborative skills, working with cross-functional stakeholders and external partners including community partners and business leaders.
  • Communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proper grammar usage.
  • Time management skills.

  • Must live in Ohio.
  • Employment in this position is conditional pending successful clearance of a driver’s license record check.
  • Influenza vaccination is a requirement of this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in working with Medicaid population is preferred.
  • Familiarity of asset based community development.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains working relationships with existing community stakeholders/partners, including providing high-level support to drive the overall satisfaction and engagement of key community partners.
  • Provides support to the JobConnect member-facing team as it relates to developing understanding of community dynamics within targeted geographies, helping the team to maintain a higher understanding of the members in the region.
  • Coordinates activities for JobConnect team to engage with current and potential members, to support recruitment within targeted geographical communities.
  • Provides research and analysis on the unique needs, challenges, strengths, and resources within a community to allow JobConnect to best serve members, and makes strategic recommendations to leadership accordingly.
  • Keeps leadership informed of community partnership statuses, and opportunities for relationship enhancement.
  • Understands, gathers, and utilizes data as it applies to targeted geographic regions that are being served within the JobConnect program.
  • Serves as a primary contact person for JobConnect in targeted geographical communities, as needed.
  • Performs any other job related instructions, as requested.
