Community Participation Instructor - Full Time - Carlisle
About The Position
The Arc of Cumberland & Perry Counties (CPARC) is a human services agency that is seeking a Community Participation Instructor for our Community Fusion program. This day program serves adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Community Fusion is a day program that was designed as a transitional program for individuals with disabilities to assist them in becoming active citizens in their community. Participants can choose from a variety of activities throughout the day. The Community Participation Instructor will assist these participants in a range of activities of their choice, including community involvement.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or its equivalent is required.
- Must be physically able to care for participants with disabilities.
- Must possess a valid PA driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in working with people who have disabilities is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist participants in a range of activities of their choice, including community involvement.
