The Community Outreach & Volunteer Services Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating community engagement initiatives that promote the hospital's mission, services, and community health goals. This position serves as the primary liaison between the hospital and community organizations, schools, businesses, and local stakeholders. The coordinator also oversees the hospital's volunteer program, including recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, recognition, and retention of volunteers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Communications, Marketing, Human Services, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in community relations, public affairs, volunteer management, healthcare administration, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Previous volunteer program management experience preferred.
