About The Position

Requirements

• Strong interest in community outreach, nonprofit organizations, fundraising, marketing, or public relations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A friendly, approachable personality with confidence speaking to new people.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt and succeed in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to accept coaching.
• High school diploma or GED required; college coursework is a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and special community events.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, sales, events, or volunteer work is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Engage with community members to promote nonprofit programs, charitable initiatives, and awareness campaigns.
• Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of outreach events and community programs.
• Build positive relationships with volunteers, donors, supporters, and community partners.
• Represent nonprofit organizations and causes through professional, face-to-face communication.
• Support event setup, registration, attendee engagement, and onsite coordination.
• Educate the public about nonprofit missions, programs, and community initiatives.
• Track engagement, attendance, and campaign results to help improve outreach efforts.
• Collaborate with team members to execute successful community engagement strategies.
• Participate in training focused on communication, fundraising, outreach strategies, event support, and leadership development.
• Maintain a positive, professional, and mission-focused representation of partner organizations.
