About The Position

The Community Outreach Coordinator is the local public face of Stimulus Broadband in Oregon. This individual-contributor seat puts community visibility and public outreach first: planning and staffing events, setting up booths and materials, representing Stimulus with Chambers, civic groups, nonprofits, and local partners, and educating the public on where we can serve and what we offer. Sales is part of the job — capturing interest, answering product questions, and taking orders from the published catalog when appropriate — but this is a non-commissioned role (salary only). Community presence and events come first, with clean handoff to Customer Experience when a lead progresses to an order. You sell only from the published services and only inside the serviceable footprint. This role reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing.

Reliable work history in community outreach, event coordination, public-facing brand or nonprofit engagement, Chamber/civic work, or local sales support — preferably ISP, telecom, utility, or another subscription service.
Working familiarity with broadband products (fixed wireless, fiber-to-the-home, and fiber-to-the-business) sufficient to explain the catalog without inventing it.
Comfortable using CRM and mobile tools, and able to keep event and lead records clean.
Proven ability to plan and execute event logistics: setup, tear-down, materials, and on-site public interaction.
Strong face-to-face communication; able to solely represent the brand at community events and meetings.
Ability to work independently as an individual contributor in one market without needing a team under you.
Willingness to work evenings and weekends when community events require it.
This role is a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) role, you’ll be required to have certain company apps to perform the duties of this role.
A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required.
Stimulus Technologies conducts pre-employment and random background checks, along with drug, alcohol, and cannabis testing. Candidates must pass all required screenings.

Responsibilities

Own the local community outreach calendar: fairs, festivals, civic events, Chamber meetings, nonprofit partnerships, and other public touchpoints that raise Stimulus Broadband visibility.
Plan, set up, staff, and tear down event presence — tent, table, signage, demo kit, and collateral — so Stimulus shows up ready and on brand.
Be the public face at events and community gatherings. Explain fiber and fixed wireless service in plain language and protect coverage truth: if we cannot serve a location, say so.
Build and keep relationships with Chambers of Commerce, economic development groups, civic organizations, nonprofits, and local businesses that amplify presence in the market.
Generate awareness and qualified interest. Capture leads and event outcomes in CRM with clean hygiene. Warm-handoff to Customer Experience when follow-up or install path is needed.
Partner with Marketing on materials, messaging, and promotions for community use. Flag gaps; do not invent offers in the field.
Partner with Local Field, and Customer Experience so event demand turns into scheduled installs and accurate billing.
Generally, a hybrid role located in Klamath Falls, Medford, Grants Pass, Lakeview, or Chiloquin Oregon with expected periodic meetings in the office as well as work remote.
Travel within the market is expected, and to adjacent markets as we grow.
Evenings and weekends are expected when the community calendar requires it.
Stay adaptable as markets grow, catalogs change, and new offices open. The seat stays an individual-contributor community outreach role.
