About The Position

Help position LIFQHC as a socially responsible health care provider organization in the diverse underserved minority, immigrant and low-income communities. An individual in this role will work by promoting LIFQHC's services as well as develop and coordinate a comprehensive strategy that help the communities to gain easy access to care at our health centers via relationship building, branding efforts, event organization and collaboration with community partners.

Requirements

  • College degree required.
  • 1+ years of work experience in Community Outreach, Marketing, Business Development, Sales and/or the healthcare industry.
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
  • Willing to travel.
  • Must have strong communication and writing skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is required.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Serve the primary responsibility of connecting with public schools, community-based organizations, colleges, health centers' advisory boards, faith-based organizations, community boards, legislators, county agencies, elected officials and local media as well as other business units like pharmacies, supermarkets, food pantries.
  • Serve as the PR person to help identify opportunities to promote LIFQHC's services and make presentations to the relevant organizations.
  • Gather and present the feedback and opinions obtained from internal and external to help improve the name/reputation of LIFQHC and patient satisfaction and to better the service quality.
  • Create a master event calendar and coordinate with NUMC (hospital), Healthfirst (HF) and other relevant parties to organize and promote events, presentations, and enrollment opportunities.
  • Work with HF, Community Outreach Staff at the hospital and our health centers to help develop joint events, marketing and branding events and presentations at Family Day events, Faith-Based groups, Town-Hall Meeting, Community Fairs, Health Fairs, Festivals and other venues to help increase enrollment efforts with HF
  • Prepare weekly/monthly business plans, monthly events calendars, managed care reports and order supplies for events.
  • Work as the point person with elected officials to help develop partnerships and collaboration at events and programs.
