About The Position

CBI Health is Canada's leading community healthcare provider, with a passionate team of 13,000 staff dedicated to making a meaningful difference in clients' lives. Our Community Rehabilitation Services team works across Ontario, treating clients who have experienced mental stress injuries and motor vehicle accidents, with a focus on returning them to pre-accident function. In our Traumatic Psychological Injury program, Occupational Therapists work with clients like first responders, utilizing interventions such as in-vivo exposure therapy, behavioral activation, and virtual reality to promote industry-leading mental health outcomes. This specialized program allows OTs to become experts in a growing niche within the profession. In our Complex Auto program, Occupational Therapists assess and treat clients with physical, cognitive, and psychosocial impairments related to motor vehicle accidents. This includes in-home and hospital discharge assessments, ergonomic assessments, concussion treatment, cognitive rehabilitation, and mental health treatment, providing comprehensive 'start to finish care'. Some OTs focus on one area, while others prefer a mixed caseload. CBI Health offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including group health, dental, and vision benefits paid 100% by the company, EHB psychology/psychotherapy services, and EAP mental health services. Benefits also include paid vacation and sick days, a three-month paid welcome period with structured training and mentorship, ongoing training opportunities with a yearly external education allowance of $1,000, and regular mentorship from seasoned OTs. Additionally, there is paid psychotherapy supervision, annual reviews for professional development and career advancement, a collaborative team environment with peer support and social events, guaranteed paid non-billable time for training and meetings, excellent administrative support, flexible hours for work-life balance, and opportunities for remote work.
