CBI Health is Canada's leading community healthcare provider with a national interdisciplinary network of over 2,500 healthcare staff and professionals. Our Community Rehabilitation Services team works across Ontario, treating clients who have experienced mental stress injuries and motor vehicle accidents, with a focus on returning them to their pre-accident function. As an Occupational Therapist in our Complex Auto program, you will assess and treat clients with physical, cognitive, and psychosocial challenges, including non-CAT and CAT files. This role involves in-home and hospital discharge assessments, ergonomic assessments, concussion and cognitive rehabilitation, mental health treatment, and other interventions. Unlike traditional private practice, CBI Health has established strong relationships with auto insurance providers and legal representatives, allowing OTs to focus on client-centered clinical work. This program offers the opportunity for 'start to finish care,' from acute injury stages through to return to pre-MVA function, making the work more meaningful.
