Residential Care Services (RCS) within the Home and Community Living Administration (HCLA) team is seeking a Community Nurse Field Manager to oversee and supervise the work of the Adult Family Home (AFH) unit, ensuring vulnerable adults residing in AFHs receive quality care that meets state and federal regulations. This role requires a knowledgeable nurse leader who fosters a positive work environment, develops a strong sense of team, and encourages individual growth for staff. As a Community Nurse Field Manager, you will supervise, direct, and assign the work of complaint investigators and licensors in a field unit that covers multiple counties. You’ll address critical issues ensuring compliance with statutory guidelines surrounding the protection of vulnerable adults and quality of care in adult family homes. You’ll make key decisions regarding actions and processes for nurses, long-term care licensors, and support staff. You’ll utilize your nursing knowledge and clinical experience to serve as a resource to assist field staff and fellow managers in reviewing clinical nursing matters. The duty station for this position will be in Vancouver, WA. This is a hybrid position with the opportunity to work remotely approximately 2-3 days a week.
