About The Position

Tutor Doctor is seeking an energetic and personable Community Marketing Ambassador to support local outreach efforts in the Conejo Valley (Thousand Oaks and surrounding communities) and Simi Valley. This flexible, part-time role involves increasing awareness of tutoring services by directly connecting with families in their neighborhoods. It's ideal for individuals who enjoy being outdoors, working independently, and engaging with people.

Requirements

• Strong communication and people skills.
• Outgoing and comfortable approaching new people.
• Dependable and self-driven.
• Able to work independently and stay organized.
• Comfortable walking for extended periods outdoors on your feet.
• Reliable transportation required for travel between Conejo Valley and Simi Valley neighborhoods.
• Reliable cell phone with ability to download required apps for tracking.

Responsibilities

• Walk neighborhoods throughout the Conejo Valley and Simi Valley.
• Introduce Tutor Doctor to families in a friendly, approachable way.
• Request permission to place lawn signs in visible areas.
• Represent the brand respectfully within the community.
• Act as a positive, professional face of Tutor Doctor.
• Provide basic information about tutoring services.
• Help build awareness and trust with local families.
• Log outreach activity and sign placements.
• Keep accurate records of homeowner permissions.
• Share insights and feedback from the field.
