About The Position

The Alexander Apartments is seeking an experienced and motivated Property Manager to lead operations at our 360-unit apartment community in Rock Hill, SC. This is more than a traditional Property Manager role. The Alexander is undergoing significant investment and improvement initiatives, creating an exciting opportunity for a proven multifamily leader to make a lasting impact. Ownership is committed to enhancing the resident experience through ongoing community improvements, capital investments, and operational support, and we're looking for a Property Manager who is excited to help drive that vision forward. Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of Property Manager experience in multifamily housing
  • South Carolina Property Manager License required or ability to obtain
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills
  • Experience managing property financials, budgets, and occupancy goals
  • Knowledge of leasing, collections, resident retention, and Fair Housing practices

Nice To Haves

  • Renovation, repositioning, value-add, or lease-up experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to lead through change and drive operational improvements

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all daily operations of a 360-unit multifamily community
  • Lead, mentor, and develop onsite team members
  • Drive occupancy, resident retention, and leasing performance
  • Manage resident relations and ensure a high level of customer service
  • Partner with maintenance leadership to maintain community standards and curb appeal
  • Develop and manage operating budgets while maximizing property performance
  • Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to improve NOI
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and company policies
  • Support ongoing renovation and capital improvement initiatives
