The Community Manager within the Affordable Housing Business Unit is responsible for the overall operational, financial, and administrative performance of one or more affordable housing communities, including LIHTC and/or Section 8 properties. This role oversees budget management, marketing initiatives, staff supervision, regulatory compliance, resident relations, and maintenance of physical assets. Serving as the primary management representative, the Community Manager collaborates with property owners, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance and operational excellence. Reporting to the Regional Property Manager or Vice President of the Affordable Housing Business Unit, the Community Manager supervises onsite property staff and is responsible for recruiting, hiring, staffing, wage reporting, resident certifications and recertifications, leasing activities, marketing efforts, accounts receivable, and collections. The ideal candidate is adaptable, customer-focused, and able to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays as business needs require.
