About The Position

Northland is seeking a dedicated Community Manager to oversee day-to-day operations at the Echo Lake community, a 360-unit apartment community located in Bradenton, FL. The Community Manager will monitor and enforce compliance with all company policies and procedures, provide supervision of onsite staff and vendors, and adhere to deadlines on legal or financial responsibilities of the community. This role is responsible for profitability, cost control, and maintaining the operating budget. The Community Manager must maintain the highest level of professionalism and customer service when working with residents, vendors, and guests, and proactively manage any concerns escalated to management to provide the best living experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in multifamily property management.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Proficient in strategic advertising, marketing, leasing, and community promotion, with awareness of competitive market trends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) required.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods of time, climb, bend, and squat.
  • Must be able to occasionally push, pull, lift, and carry weights up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work inside and outside in all weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience overseeing direct reports, including maintenance personnel and contractors.
  • Prior experience with Yardi or other property management software strongly preferred.
