About The Position

This role is ideal for a strong leader who is passionate about team development, operational excellence, and delivering an exceptional resident experience. The Community Manager will oversee all day-to-day operations of the community, including hiring, training, and developing high-performing team members. They will supervise office and maintenance staff, lead, coach, and motivate the onsite team to achieve performance goals, and foster a positive, professional, and productive work environment. Responsibilities include conducting performance reviews, maintaining property presentation, ensuring timely rent collection and delinquency management, overseeing service requests, and ensuring efficient unit turnover. Additionally, the Community Manager will assist in preparing annual operating budgets, monitor financial performance, analyze and report on property performance, partner with marketing to drive traffic and leasing, maintain high occupancy while optimizing rental rates, and monitor resident satisfaction. This role requires a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, strong organizational skills, professional appearance, and flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed. The ability to respond to emergencies outside of normal business hours is also necessary.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Community Manager
  • Previous property management experience is required; candidates without direct experience will not be considered
  • Strong leadership, team development, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Yardi
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and act with urgency
  • Professional appearance and adherence to company standards
