About The Position

Monroe Group is looking for a Community Manager to join our team! We are seeking a seasoned Community Manager who can manage a large Family affordable Project Based Section 8 (PBS8) community. Our ideal candidates enjoy mentoring and developing their team, have the personality to positively interact with applicants, residents and teammates. They enjoy leading teams, like to work hard while having fun and are strong problem-solvers. The Details: Our Community Managers are fully accountable and responsible for providing overall supervision of the community. Overseeing and enhancing the value of the property, and ensuring the property team is positive and successful.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum of two (2) years as Community Manager
Working Knowledge of OneSite or Yardi Software
English language proficiency (read, speak, and write)
The ability to pass a full background check
Valid driver’s license and vehicle is required

Nice To Haves

College Degree is preferred
Strong experience in affordable housing programs
Participated in Management and Occupancy reviews and UPCS/REAC Inspections
Experience with resident occupied project renovations

Responsibilities

Leading and mentoring a dynamic team
Developing and managing the budget
Ensuring property is meeting KPI Goal for Occupancy, Collections, Compliance, Asset and Budget Management
Submitting necessary weekly/monthly reporting
Ensuring that site teams deliver Safe, Decent and Sanitary Housing to all our residents
Performs all other duties as assigned
