Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in, healthcare administration, marketing, or related field or a graduate of an approved school of nursing, therapy or social work.
  • Minimum two years of experience in healthcare business development, community relations, marketing, or sales.
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of federal, state, and local laws and regulatory guidelines governing Medicare certified home health and hospice operations.
  • Valid state driver license in the current state of residence.
  • Automobile liability insurance, as required by law.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • If Clinical: Must have and maintain clinical license, per state requirements to complete this job in accordance with applicable board’s rules.
  • Must maintain dependable transportation in good working condition and be able to safely drive in all types of weather conditions.
  • Oral communication, written communication, fluency in English, active listening.
  • Demonstrated intermediate technology skills. Especially Microsoft office, including word and excel.
  • In-office attendance is essential in order to achieve Enhabit objectives, including but not limited to, effective supervision, teamwork, task completion, and other position objectives (unless designated full-time remote).

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing, therapy or social work.
  • Experience in home health, hospice, post-acute care, or related healthcare services.
  • Previous experience using electronic referral systems and Homecare Homebase (HCHB).
  • Established relationships with physicians, hospitals or senior living communities and other referral sources.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the primary relationship manager between the company and referral sources including physicians, physician practices, hospitals, health systems, inpatient facilities, senior living communities, professional associations, and other healthcare organizations or progressional.
  • Supports referral growth by providing awareness and education of company services and program requirements to referral sources, patients, families, caregivers and community partners to help navigate post-acute care transitions with the goal of improving patient outcomes, supporting care transition, and promoting exceptional quality and patient / referral source satisfaction.
