About The Position

The Community Engagement Liaison will serve as a link between the medical group and the community by creating brand awareness through grass root and community-based efforts. Implements retention and growth strategies to achieve membership and marketing goals of the group.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business Administration.
  • 3-5 years of Marketing or Business Development/Outreach experience in Healthcare, Managed Care, or with Health Plans.
  • Proven success with marketing planning, supporting growth, event execution, and networking.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and highly skilled in Outlook and Excel use.
  • Able to work independently.

Nice To Haves

  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish or Vietnamese is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the senior community network is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Implements marketing and advertising campaigns; preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations; building a new book of business.
  • Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data from their territory.
  • Supports sales staff by providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses, new product information; relaying customer services requests.
  • Plans meetings and community events by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; coordinating mailing lists.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading trade publications.
  • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Display professionalism, good judgment, maturity, and fairness when interacting with others and staff.
  • Ensures written and verbal communication with all levels of management, staff, vendors and property management or accurate and with good grammar.
  • Strong interpersonal, creative problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.
  • Displays warm, pleasant personality, emphasizing tact, empathy, and patience
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where flexibility and being proactive are essential.
  • Create letters, spreadsheets, charts and graphs, as needed.
  • Take notations, meeting minutes and type letters.
  • All other duties as directed by management.
