About The Position

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP). This program addresses the increasing need for EMS providers to support individuals with chronic disease and social service needs. The Community Integrated Health / Community Paramedicine (CIH/CP) Specialist, under the guidance of the EMS System Manager, will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop quality improvement tactics and create educational tools for CIH initiatives and RHTP strategies. Requirements

Knowledge of public health program management principles and practices.
Ability to research, develop, and implement public health interventions.
Bachelor’s degree in public administration, health education, health science, or other behavioral or social science related fields.
Two years job-related public health program experience, including contracts and direct training experience.
Must complete the state application and attach all required documents through the Montana State Careers site.
