About The Position

As a full-time Community Inclusion Specialist with Community Interface Services, you'll have the opportunity to utilize your skills and passion to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving their goals and integrating into their local community. This position earns a starting range of $23-25 per hour, with a flexible schedule Monday through Friday. MAKE A DIFFERENCE As a Community Inclusion Specialist, you will have the incredible social service opportunity to work closely with a variety of people who are eager to integrate into their community and explore their careers. Each day, you'll have the privilege of working one-on-one with individuals with disabilities who have their own unique goals and aspirations. Whether it's supporting them in building their skills in the workplace, discovering social or recreational activities that bring them joy, building the necessary skills to live independently, or assisting them in pursuing higher education, your role will be vital in helping them turn their dreams into reality. No days are the same, you'll be active within the community as you support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Requirements

  • A car in safely working order
  • Vehicle insurance
  • A valid CA driver's license
  • At least 2 years of driving experience
  • A high school diploma

Nice To Haves

  • A bachelor's degree
  • Experience with the I/DD community

Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving their goals and integrating into their local community.
  • Work closely with a variety of people who are eager to integrate into their community and explore their careers.
  • Work one-on-one with individuals with disabilities who have their own unique goals and aspirations.
  • Support individuals in building their skills in the workplace.
