About The Position

Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Community Human Resources Director position. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all human resources functions at the community level, including recruitment and onboarding processes to attract, hire, and retain top talent aligned with the organization’s mission and values. Cultivates a positive and inclusive work environment by proactively supporting team member relations through coaching, effective conflict resolution, and meaningful engagement initiatives. Partners closely with the Regional HR Director and community leadership to implement talent strategies, strengthen workplace culture, and ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and organizational policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of progressive HR experience in a leadership capacity
  • At least one year of recruitment experience
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and team member relations

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree
  • Recruitment experience preferably in a senior living, healthcare, or hospitality environment
  • Professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR
