About The Position

The Division of Hematology/Oncology within the UMass Memorial Health System and UMass Chan Medical School is seeking an experienced General Hematologist/Oncologist to join their team at the Cancer Center in Marlborough, MA. This role offers an opportunity to provide high-quality, community-based cancer care within a well-established practice. The division is integrated, multidisciplinary, and focused on clinical care and innovation, with access to state-of-the-art facilities and affiliation with a nationally ranked academic institution. The position includes protected administrative time, use of Epic EMR, and opportunities for academic appointment and teaching at UMass Chan Medical School. Engagement in clinical investigation and quality improvement is also supported.

Requirements

Board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology Oncology
MD or DO degree
Eligibility for medical licensure in Massachusetts
Strong commitment to patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and academic engagement

Nice To Haves

Interest in clinical investigation, teaching, hemostasis/thrombosis and/or or sickle cell disease preferred.

Responsibilities

Primary clinical focus on General Hematology and Oncology.
Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care by working alongside expert teams in hematology, oncology, pathology, radiology, and surgical subspecialties.
Participate in conferences, tumor board discussions, and inpatient fellowship, resident, and student teaching.
Contribute to clinical investigation and quality improvement within your area of interest.
