This is a full-time, non-exempt position working under the direction of the Clinic Manager. Funding for this position is from grant programs and is subject to appropriations and will expire at the end of the grant term (November 2027). Work involves assisting in completing the deliverables of the Public Health Infrastructure grant in collaboration with Health Department staff, state and local governmental officials and agencies, school districts, volunteer and community organizations, healthcare providers and the general public. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, improvement of epi surveillance and reporting of health data, utilization of laboratory data to enhance investigation, response, and prevention of epidemiological pathogens and syndromes, work with healthcare system to manage and monitor system capacity, improvement of public health understanding of jurisdictional communities with respect to respiratory pathogens and syndrome risk, and community education.
