About The Position
The Community Health Specialist oversees the coordination, planning, implementation and evaluation of screenings and programs sponsored by WakeMed. Coordinates community services provided through WakeMed and community partners. Provides work site wellness services to corporate and community client groups. Develops health promotion initiatives and activities that are identified as needed in the community. Conducts screenings, educational programs, health fairs, events and provides follow-up education services. Develops strategies for referral development to WakeMed physicians and services. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Health Education Required - Or Bachelor's Degree Public Health Required Bachelor's Degree Nursing Required
- 3 Years Education - Health And Wellness Programs Required
