This part-time Community Health Clinical Faculty position involves implementing the College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching and service. The role requires planning clinical experiences, providing direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students, and offering documented feedback on student performance. The faculty member will be available for student remediation, maintain knowledge of agency/clinical policies, and develop clinical assignments. Responsibilities also include timely correction of student work, contributing to program development, potentially teaching didactic content under supervision, and keeping the course coordinator informed of student concerns. The position involves collaboration with college administration and faculty to improve college operations and student satisfaction, participation in the College Assessment Program and campus retention efforts, and serving as a professional role model. The faculty member will utilize relationship skills for problem-solving and negotiation and comply with all regulatory rules and standards. This role reports to the dean or assistant dean, with direct oversight from a course coordinator, and includes handling related duties as assigned.
