The Lead Community Health Associate (LCHA) conducts direct outreach with designated communities to provide education and build professional bonds, relationships, and sustainable advisory boards and partnerships. Under the direction of management, the LCHA is responsible for bringing together important information, resources, and evidence-based awareness and screening programs to identified communities. The LCHA is also responsible for data collection when necessary and will represent the Cedars Sinai Medical Center in community settings. The LCHA collaborates with colleagues and experts to conduct trainings in the community. This position will provide feedback to the director(s), principal investigators, clinicians, researchers, and administrators on community priorities, needs, and barriers on a regular basis to help catalyze the development of research projects and needed community programs.
