About The Position

As a member of the TMG Quality and Training department, this role will be critical in helping ensure patients are receiving necessary preventative care services. This individual will work under the direct supervision of department management and TMG leadership and in coordination with data abstractors and Trainers to ensure that all Care Gaps are being closed. The key functions of this position are to utilize the EMR and payer portals to identify Care Gaps, schedule patients for services and to submit necessary documentation to close those gaps.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree or 2 years of college coursework
  • Three years of related experience
  • Working knowledge of specialized practices, equipment, and procedures
  • One year of previous clerical experience
  • Ability to read and write legibly
  • Proficient use of computer equipment and software such as Word and Excel
  • Proficient in basic computer skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Knowledge of electronic medical record
