Looking for a Community Group Home Manager Basic Schedule: Live-in position (24 hours a day/7 days a week); one week on, one week off. Basic Job Description/Responsibilities for Community Group Home Manager : The Community Group Home Manager is responsible for assisting residents to develop their lives in a normal home-like atmosphere. This position requires the knowledge of all the principles of household management including basic nutrition & cooking, money management, personal relationships, human behavior, the developmental model of normalization, as well as management training and supervision and communication skills. Responsible for all needs of residents at all times; provide continuous supervision for residents. Act as a positive role model for residents. Provide residents with safe transportation. Requirements
- Two years general work experience
- Ability to read, write, understand and follow directions
- basic computer skills
- current/valid driver’s license
- Minimum 21 years of age
Nice To Haves
- experience and/or education in the human service field or related areas (special education, psychology, social work, child development, nursing, communication therapy, etc.)
