About The Position

Metro State University, a member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System, is considering candidates for adjunct professors of Economics and Finance. This is not a vacancy, but rather joining a pool for consideration should an opening become available. Requirements

  • For undergraduate courses: A Master’s degree, or terminal degree (e.g., Ph. D., Ed.D., M.F.A., D.N.P., D.B.A.) in discipline, subfield or related interdisciplinary field; OR a J.D. degree with expertise in the discipline, subfield or related interdisciplinary field; OR a Master’s degree, terminal degree, or J.D. with expertise in a different discipline or subfield and at least 18 semester hour credits of graduate coursework in the discipline, subfield, or related interdisciplinary field; OR a Master’s degree, terminal degree, or J.D. with expertise in a different discipline or subfield and at least 2 years of work experience directly related to the discipline, subfield, or related interdisciplinary field; OR a Bachelor’s degree in the discipline, subfield, or related interdisciplinary field and at least 18 semester hour credits of graduate coursework or an equivalent amount of professional certification; OR a Bachelor’s degree in the discipline, subfield, or related interdisciplinary field and at least 2 years of work experience directly related to the discipline, subfield or related interdisciplinary field or 1 year of work experience and discipline-specific certification.
  • For graduate courses: A terminal degree (e.g., Ph. D., Ed.D., M.F.A, D.N.P., D.B.A.) in the discipline, subfield or related interdisciplinary field; OR a J.D. degree with expertise in the discipline, subfield, or related interdisciplinary field; OR a Master’s degree in the discipline, subfield, or related interdisciplinary field and at least 18 semester hour credits of terminal degree graduate coursework; OR a Master’s degree in the discipline, subfield, or related interdisciplinary field and at least 2 years of work experience directly related to the discipline, subfield.
