The Community Engagement Team Specialist provides technical, administrative, and research functions for programs requiring specialized training and knowledge, along with the ability to plan, coordinate, and assist with the implementation of such programs. This role operates under the supervision of an assigned supervisor, with considerable latitude for independent judgment and initiative. Supervision may be exercised over volunteer staff. The principal duties are performed in a police department environment. This is a non-exempt position and is subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
