About The Position

The Community Engagement Specialist works in collaboration with the Mosinee School District to offer a safe, welcoming experience for all community members who visit the pool and participate in community programming. This position is responsible for checking patrons in and out, maintaining accurate attendance records, ensuring building security, and assisting the director as needed.

Requirements

  • Certifications required within 30 days of hire: CPR/AED and First Aid.
  • Exceptional communication, organization, interpersonal and problem-solving skills as well as basic technology skills.
  • Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
  • Must be proficient in the use of DAXKO (training provided), Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors entrance point and follows check-in/check-out policies and procedures.
  • Keeps accurate logs of pool patron attendance and program participation.
  • Accurately accounts for all monies received during shift and deposits in safe.
  • Helps to maintain a clean, attractive, and well-organized lobby area.
  • Provides excellent service to the community by answering questions in a polite, helpful manner.
  • Follows all requirements outlined in the Staff Expectations.
  • Must attend mandatory staff meetings.
  • Performs any other duties assigned by the Director.
