About The Position

This client is a Health Care Professionals (HCPs) collaboration platform — a dynamic, fast-moving health technology company. We connect HCPs across Canada, enabling meaningful peer engagement, medical education, and life sciences partnerships that improve patient outcomes. This is a dedicated role owning community growth and engagement at an organization that has built strong HCP relationships over the past 14 years. You'll bring a fresh set of eyes to member engagement — sharpening what's worked, rethinking what hasn't, and turning that thinking into real systems, content, and relationships. This role moves between strategy and execution — from setting the engagement strategy to writing the welcome message. The ideal candidate understands how HCPs engage differently: time-scarce, skeptical of anything promotional, and driven by peer credibility. Since this function is still proving its value, you'll need to back your work with data as much as relationships.

Requirements

  • Community Experience. You've grown or operated a successful online community, ideally for a professional, credentialed, or trust-driven audience.
  • Fresh Perspective. You can look at a program with years of history and see where it's ready to evolve — bringing new thinking alongside proven tactics.
  • Strong Executor. You can take a broad mandate or a leader's direction and turn it into something concrete and repeatable.
  • HCP Audience Fluency. You understand — or are genuinely curious to learn — what makes HCPs engage: peer credibility, time scarcity, and low tolerance for anything promotional.
  • Data-Informed. You're comfortable using engagement and sentiment data to sharpen a program and make the case for where it should go next.
  • Strong Communicator. You write clearly and adapt your voice — whether welcoming a new member or briefing internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Operationalizing Engagement. Defining and modernizing the processes, cadences, and systems this function runs on — turning disconnected efforts into something repeatable.
  • Running the Community. Owning the day-to-day pulse of our HCP community across the channels we use to host it, from welcoming new members to surfacing and resolving issues.
  • Growing Engagement. Identifying and nurturing highly engaged members, building one-to-one relationships that turn casual participants into advocates.
  • Creating Relevant Content. Planning and executing discussion topics, content, and programming that HCPs find valuable — respecting their time and clinical credibility.
  • Measuring What Matters. Tracking sentiment, participation, and engagement metrics, and using data to drive change.
  • Representing the Member's Voice Internally. Leading member discovery through interviews, surveys, and research — translating learnings into insight our Marketing, Product, and Customer Experience teams can act on.
