About The Position

The Community Engagement Manager (CEM) provides strategic and operational leadership across IAC Las Vegas programs, staff, systems, and community infrastructure. This role ensures operational excellence, strong internal capacity, and effective execution in alignment with IAC’s vision and goals across programs, operations, and community engagement. The CEM plays a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the IAC Las Vegas Center along with leading the planning and execution of community events. This is a part-time position of 20 hours per week and the CEM reports to the IAC Las Vegas Regional Director.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Proven experience in leadership and management with at least three years in similar positions
  • Excellent inter-personal skills
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of Israeli and American cultures
  • Fluent and skilled in both spoken and written Hebrew and English
  • Conceptual thinker, ability to see the big picture and to create and execute a grand vision
  • Good operational, administrative, and management capabilities, ability to lead processes
  • Strong high-level planning and monitoring capabilities
  • Experience in managing and leading a team of employees
  • Action-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
  • A proactive, energetic, and positive leader
  • Public speaker
  • Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with donors, Council members, staff, and community organizations
  • Exceptional ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Knowledge of Israel-related issues and passion regarding community building

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the IAC Center
  • Ensure the Center is organized, functional, and welcoming
  • Coordinate with vendors for maintenance, cleaning, security, and supplies
  • Serve as the point person on-site for logistics and troubleshooting
  • Manage the Center’s calendar (programs, rentals, meetings, events)
  • Manage relationships and agreements with external partners and vendors
  • Assist with reporting and data tracking (attendance, logistics)
  • Provide overall responsibility for program execution, including operational planning, budget oversight, collaboration with national colleagues, and alignment with the organizational work plan and vision
  • Lead logistics for community events (20–500+ participants)
  • Coordinate all operational aspects, including: Venue, vendors, run of show, and event flow
  • Be on-site at events to ensure smooth execution
  • Support major events such as: Gala, Celebrate Israel Festival, Community holidays & programs
  • Develop and manage relationships with community organizations and partners
  • Represent IAC at community events and oversee the execution of IAC-hosted events
  • Manage the Chapter’s social media schedule, content balance, and campaigns
  • Create content for online and offline marketing tools, including brochures, newsletters, email campaigns, website content, and blogs
  • Edit and publish a weekly English language e-newsletter
  • Participate in IAC staff meetings, trainings, and national conferences
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with regional and national colleagues to ensure alignment and shared best practices
