At Regions, the Community Engagement and Partnerships Program Manager designs, implements, and oversees ongoing programs and strategic projects for Community Engagement and manages relationships with internal and external business partners and market leaders. This position enhances community impact and engagement, as well as equips associates for participation across Regions’ footprint. This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Finance, Marketing, Social Science, Urban Planning and experience in community development, finance, non-profit, or related field
  • Or High School Diploma or GED and four (4) years of experience in community development, finance, non-profit, or related field
  • Must be willing to travel as needed
  • Experience presenting on virtual platforms such as MS Teams, WebEx or Zoom
  • Must have a Driver’s License and access to a car daily (personal mileage will be reimbursed)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience effectively preparing individuals to translate new knowledge into teaching others
  • Experience in banking and/or financial services
  • Experience in community development
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience managing external partnerships
  • Familiarity with the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and related reporting regulations
  • Knowledge of financial services products
  • Experience training or public speaking in Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the implementation of designated programs (e.g. Associates in Action Volunteer Program, Associate Recognition, United Way, Financial Education, Philanthropy, etc.)
  • Provides status and participation reports, as well as monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc corporate reports, contributing to regulatory and auditing reporting and documentation when needed
  • Assists in the development of organizational events (e.g. luncheons, speakers, executive meetings, etc.)
  • Collaborates with Human Resources to establish effective messaging for new hires, encouraging participation
  • Collaborates with Corporate Communications to contribute to the communication of impactful stories from community involvement as well as create templates to communicate about activities internally and externally
  • Promotes use of the Regions Community Engagement Portal (RCEC) for recording of all associate activities
  • May serve as a relationship manager for external parties (e.g. United Way of Central Alabama)
  • Collaborates with market chairs as necessary to set goals and develop market-specific plans to achieve the goals
  • Assists with managing applicable budgets, reimbursements, and/or payments when necessary
  • Researches trends in the industry
  • Promotes corporate social responsibility
  • Solicits and bids on financial education community partnerships on behalf of Regions, if applicable to designated programs and/or projects
  • Seeks opportunities to increase public awareness of Regions’ Community Development activities
  • Meet with schools and nonprofit organizations to determine the best financial education activity for their audience.
  • Deliver Regions Bank’s financial education training both virtually and in-person to community partners across the Regions footprint, especially the Central Florida markets.
  • Must be comfortable presenting to audiences from various ages (from elementary students to adults) and life circumstances

  • Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
  • The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
  • Job Range Target: Minimum: $54,912.55 USD
  • 50th Percentile: $73,550.00 USD
