The Community Engagement Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing community engagement activities for the Fernandeño Tataviam Band of Mission Indians (FTBMI) Community-Designed Health, Wellness, and Tribal Governance Ecosystem project. The position serves as the primary point of contact between FTBMI, Tribal citizens, community members, community partners, and stakeholders participating in project planning and development activities. The Coordinator will facilitate community-driven decision-making processes, organize engagement events, document community priorities, and support development of the Tribal Health & Wellness Implementation Framework, Health and Wellness Code expansion, and future Tribal healthcare entity planning.
