Requirements

Exceptional customer service skills
Resourcefulness
Teaching skills
A car in safe working order
Vehicle insurance
A valid CA driver's license
At least 2 years of driving experience
Ability to pass a background check
A high school diploma is required

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's in a social science preferred
Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities is also preferred

Responsibilities

Support them in exploring volunteer opportunities and their local community
Plan social and recreational activities to expand on their network
Assist with mobility training to increase independence in accessing the community
Accompany this person to their part time job and provide job coaching
Develop and implement a plan of direct support for their personal goals
Document progress, work with a larger team to analyze metrics and determine future steps
