About The Position

The Employment Services Manager is a key member of Shangri-La's Employment Services Leadership Team and is responsible for leading employment and community inclusion services for individuals with disabilities. This position oversees staff supervision and development, program operations, compliance, participant services, quality assurance, and financial performance. The Employment Services Manager works collaboratively with staff, participants, families, funding agencies, employers, and community partners to ensure high-quality, person-centered services that promote meaningful employment and community engagement. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, sound judgment, effective communication skills, and the ability to balance operational responsibilities with a commitment to exceptional participant outcomes.

Requirements

  • Two (2) year degree in human services or related field.
  • Three (3) years of work experience in human services.
  • Two (2) years of experience in a position that included supervisory and training responsibilities.
  • Must have or be willing to complete within the first 6 months of employment, ACRE certification or CESP.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of 8-12 employment services staff.
  • Manage referrals, participant service delivery, and regulatory compliance.
  • Attend and support ISP planning and stakeholder meetings.
  • Monitor program performance, documentation, and revenue goals.
  • Coordinate staff onboarding, training, and professional development.
  • Build partnerships with employers, agencies, and community organizations.
  • Ensure high-quality employment services and positive participant outcomes.
