The Campaign Finance Board (CFB) is a nonpartisan, independent city agency dedicated to empowering New Yorkers in their elections through openness, transparency, and equity. The Public Affairs Division focuses on engaging New Yorkers, informing them about elections, and boosting their participation in the democratic process. The Community Engagement Unit within this division works to build partnerships across the city to disseminate voting information, deliver accessible voter education, and conduct direct voter outreach. This internship specifically supports civic education and engagement initiatives for a youth audience, involving the development and delivery of educational programming, support for youth-focused events and partnerships, and direct engagement with young people about voting and civic participation. Interns will lead workshops for high school and college students and assist the Community Engagement team with administrative tasks related to partnership development, including database maintenance and documentation of outreach efforts.
