About The Position
A Community Education Facilitator provides instruction, monitors class curriculum, and/or prepares curriculum for community classes. Facilitators are expected to be enthusiastic and knowledgeable in their talent, skill, or hobby and are assigned to program areas accordingly. This is a part-time staff position at the Richmond Campus, with varied hours and fewer than 20 hours per week. It is classified as exempt and does not include benefits. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Offers of employment are contingent upon a satisfactory background check.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience.
- Enthusiasm and knowledge in the relevant talent, skill, or hobby.
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction based on expertise in the assigned field.
- Monitor class curriculum.
- Work directly with Community Education staff on class logistics.
- Prepare curriculum for community classes, as needed.
