This frontline position is looking for someone with open availability to work at multiple locations with various teams of practitioners in our Group Home or Community Access settings to support clients. While shift days and locations will vary, the expectation is that you will support the individuals assigned to you for the duration of the shift. You will be provided with all the same trainings as regular staff, along with all the same information and directions for the individuals you will be supporting. Our Group Living Department has 11 different locations across the city. When working in our Community Access Location, you could be supporting individuals at our main facilities in the N.E., in the individuals’ homes, or in the community, doing various activities. The diagnoses and limitations of the individuals you support will vary, but could include anything from autism, cerebral palsy, and dementia, to schizophrenia, OCD, and mobility issues. With a passion for helping others, you will be asked to support individuals based on their individualized plans.
