Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid NYS Driver’s License
Reliable, responsible, and comfortable making independent decisions
A positive attitude and desire to support others

Responsibilities

Follow each person’s support plan to help them work toward their personal goals
Help with everyday tasks like personal care, meals, and daily routines when needed
Make sure the people we support are safe, healthy, and comfortable at all times
Drive and go along with individuals to appointments, activities, and outings in the community
Be a positive role model and speak up for the people you support when needed
Help with light cleaning and household tasks to keep the home running smoothly
Take part in team meetings, trainings, and agency events
Write brief notes about your shift so the next staff and supervisors know how things went
