About The Position

ICCU is seeking a Community Development Officer in Tucson who enjoys community engagement, collaborative projects, and relationship building. This role is the face of ICCU within the community, responsible for building public relationships, directing the Community Development team, and leading the planning and execution of promotional and community events. The mission of ICCU is to help members achieve financial success, and this role is crucial in extending that mission into the community.

Requirements

A valid Driver’s License, as this is a driving position (a company vehicle is provided).
Knowledge and experience in business and economic development.
Independent and organizational skills.
The ability to always maintain the confidentiality of Credit Union and member records.
Eligibility for membership at ICCU.

Nice To Haves

A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
Previous experience in marketing credit union products and services to outside companies and agencies.
Spanish language proficiency is preferred.

Responsibilities

Organizing promotional and community events and attending them to facilitate their success.
Developing new relationships and strengthening existing relationships, both internally and externally, to strengthen ICCU’s reputation within the community.
Hitting monthly new member and referral goals.
Managing multiple projects under pressure and working in a fast-paced environment.
Partnering and coordinating with other departments to deliver the full range of ICCU’s products and services.
Creating a positive and upbeat sales culture while maintaining a flexible, adaptive vision for future modifications.
