About The Position

ICCU is seeking a Community Development Intern to join their team. This role involves engaging with members and the community by assisting the Community Development team in planning and executing events. The intern will gain hands-on experience in event production, communication, business administration, special events management, and strategic partnerships. ICCU's mission is to help members achieve financial success, and this internship offers a chance to contribute to that mission while learning valuable skills.

Requirements

• A valid Driver’s License, as this is a driving position.
• The ability to work weekends and holidays as needed or scheduled.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Eligible for membership at ICCU to obtain employment.

Responsibilities

• Working collaboratively with the Community Development, Communications, and Events teams.
• Assisting with the planning, organization, and execution of events.
• Updating spreadsheets, databases, and inventories.
