We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Community Development Grant Specialist to support the Housing Stability Division’s Housing and Urban Development team. This team works with HUD Funding including CDBG, ESG, HOME and HOPWA awards. These funds are used to help with a wide range of affordable housing, public services and homeless services projects. The HUD team is a small team working to keep the city’s HUD funds up to date with policy and program changes from the federal level down to the community level. The city receives around 15 Million dollar across its 4 programs and funds up to 60 programs a year. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to meaningful work that directly impacts the well-being of our community. If you are passionate about making a difference and have the skills to manage and facilitate impactful programs we encourage you to apply. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Accounting, Public Administration, or a closely related field plus 2-4 years of related experience. Education and experience may be substituted one for the other on a year-for-year basis.
