About The Position

The Community Day Site Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the site manager and lead in coordinating daily schedules, activities, and responsibilities. This role involves providing coverage and support when the Manager and Lead are out of the office. The position requires knowledge of varying disabilities and their impact on individuals, the ability to work independently and creatively, and to problem-solve for individuals and staff. Duties include case management, observing and recording pertinent information, evaluating performance, and monitoring individuals' needs, behaviors, and personal care requirements. A company email address is required, necessitating the download of an application on a personal cell phone for multi-factor authentication (MFA). A reliable vehicle is also required unless exempted by HR.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Three (3) years of experience working with persons with disabilities or in a nursing home or health care facility
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Reliable vehicle (unless determined exempt with HR)

  • Experience overseeing activity services and programming beneficial

  • Possess knowledge of varying disabilities and their impact on functional and learning capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and creatively, problem solve as needs arise for individuals and staff that you support
  • Work with site manager and lead to coordinate daily schedules, activities, and responsibilities
  • Provide coverage and support when Manager and Lead are out of the office
  • Possesses ability to break tasks down to achievable components
  • Ability to perform case management duties
  • Observe and record pertinent information and performance of assigned individuals
  • Evaluate the performance of adults with disabilities to make recommendations concerning goals and objectives
  • Monitor individuals assigned and address needs, behaviors, and personal care requirements
