The Community Crisis Stabilization Clinician works within the Adult CCS component of the larger Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC). This role is primarily responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, including the use of standardized assessment tools for suicide risk, brief crisis counseling, individualized risk management/safety planning, psychoeducation, discharge planning, and care coordination. The Clinician will provide direct clinical services to clients in the CCS, including individual and group treatment, family meetings, and treatment team meetings. Responsibilities also include completing clinical documentation such as intakes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, as well as concurrent reviews with insurance companies, case management, and discharge planning. The CCS Clinician is expected to have a sound understanding of Human Behavior in the Social Environment, Mental illness, substance use and co-occurring disorders, and clinical interventions to appropriately support persons served. This role also provides clinical guidance and consultation to Milieu counselors, LPNs, and Certified Peer Specialists/Recovery Coaches.
