Northeast Wisconsin Technical College is seeking to hire a community connector to support students participating in the Pathways to Mobility pilot program in partnership with Brown County United Way (BCUW). The pilot is designed to help students—particularly those facing financial and other barriers—successfully complete educational programs and move toward sustainable employment and greater financial stability. The Community Connector will serve as a trusted, consistent point of contact for participants, helping them identify goals, navigate barriers, connect with community and campus resources, and follow through on agreed-upon next steps. Rather than duplicating services already available through NWTC or community organizations, the Connector will help students navigate existing systems, coordinate supports, and ensure that referrals translate into meaningful assistance through a case management approach. The role requires strong relationship-building skills, practical problem-solving, knowledge of community resources, and the ability to balance participant-centered support with clear expectations and accountability.
