The Community Center Monitor observes and checks the progress and quality of the facility over a set shift. They will keep the facility under systematic review throughout their shift and make sure that all morning checklist items are attended to daily. Monitors may have the opportunity to lead various clubs and activities during a scheduled shift. The following expectations will apply to this position: Must be able to interact with the public including all ages and personality types. Must be friendly and willing interact, and engage, patrons daily. Must be willing to proactively move within the facility when needed. Must be attentive to the needs of the patrons throughout their shift. Must wear the required shirt and badge for the duration of their shift. Provide tours to community members and answer any questions they may have. Must willingly listen to supervision and management during shift and clean up time. Must be willing to clean daily, lift up to 25lbs, dust, and follow all City and facility protocols. Monitors are not permitted to play games (video or physical) for personal pleasure; however, it is encouraged that Monitors take an active interest in the lives of the kids utilizing the facility. For that reason, staff members are permitted to interact and assist children as needed. Will be able to work a flexible shift that could include nights and weekends as needed. Ensure safety of all patrons during shift. Any other tasks as assigned by management.
