About The Position

This position will focus on injured worker participation during their light duty assignment with our nonprofit partners. They are responsible for confirming participation, explaining responsibilities during the assignment to injured workers and nonprofit partners, following up on continued participation, resolving time tracking concerns, and updating nonprofit accounts as needed.   • Strong customer service skills, including verbal and written communication.
  • Must pay attention to detail.
  • Must be able to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines with short notice.

  • Strong phone and computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word.
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills.

  • Display professionalism with co-workers and external parties.
  • The ability to work and comply with all EEOC rules collaboratively, respectfully and to accept constructive criticism from management with dignity and respect.
  • Can successfully pass background check.
  • 1 or more year of customer service experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English)
  • Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or related field.
  • Knowledge of the workers’ compensation industry

Responsibilities

  • Regularly communicate with nonprofit partners and injured workers via inbound and outbound telephone calls to confirm and follow-up on the injured worker’s participation at the nonprofit assigned.
  • Conducts daily time tracking management for injured workers.
  • Maintain and update nonprofit account information.
  • Main point of contact for nonprofit partners and injured workers; handle concerns, questions, document requests
  • Utilize multiple resources and critical thinking to determine potential quality and safety concerns
  • Communicate directly with other members of the service department regarding the light duty assignment to facilitate solutions for injured workers and nonprofit partners.
  • Handle all follow-ups on background checks for injured workers.
  • Other duties as assigned.
